The Galerie de la Présidence participated in an exceptional manner in the travelling exhibition ‘Marcel Gromaire, l’Élégance de la Force’ at the Eugène Boudin Museum in Honfleur, the Paul Valery Museum in Sète, and finally at the Piscine in Roubaix.
This exhibition would not have been possible without generous loans from the Musée d’Art Moderne in Paris, from French and foreign lenders and, from our own collection.
Just one week ago, the opening of the third part of this exhibition took place at the Piscine in Roubaix, which, like all museums in France, is now closed.
It is therefore with particular emotion that we share the following 14 minute short film with you, directed by Maïthé Vallès-Bled and produced by the Paul Valéry Museum and the City of Sète.
We hope you enjoy this very special moment with Marcel Gromaire.
